A VTCT Skills Level 3 Diploma in Nail Technology is a nationally recognised vocational qualification delivered through structured training, practical assessments and theory. It's ideal if you're looking for a comprehensive classroom-based education and a recognised qualification to begin your professional career within the nail industry.
NVQ (National Vocational Qualification)
An NVQ is another recognised vocational qualification that many beauty professionals completed in the past. While NVQs are still recognised, many training providers now deliver VTCT Skills qualifications, which provide a similar level of professional education and prepare learners for employment within the beauty industry.
CPD Accredited Courses
CPD (Continuing Professional Development) Accreditation recognises the educational quality of a course and confirms it has been independently assessed against professional learning standards. CPD courses are designed to help learners develop new knowledge, improve existing skills and continue their professional development throughout their careers.
ABT Accredited Courses
ABT Accreditation means a course has been independently reviewed and approved by one of the UK's leading beauty accreditation bodies. On successful completion, eligible learners may be able to obtain professional insurance to begin offering treatments, subject to the individual insurer's terms and eligibility requirements.

After successfully completing your assessments, you'll receive your official Full Professional Nail System certificate.

Your 14-day cancellation period
When you enrol online or enter into a course agreement at a distance, you will generally have a 14-day cooling-off period beginning from the date your enrolment is confirmed. You must contact Lightheaded Academy within this period if you wish to cancel.
For online programmes, you may choose to receive immediate access to the digital learning platform during the 14-day cooling-off period. Before access is provided, you may be asked to give your express consent for the digital content to begin and acknowledge how this affects your cancellation rights. Once digital content has been accessed, downloaded or started, your right to cancel may be limited or lost in accordance with applicable consumer law.
After the cancellation period
Once the applicable cancellation period has ended, course fees are normally non-refundable if you change your mind, no longer wish to continue or are unable to complete the programme.
Payment-plan learners remain responsible for the agreed course fees unless a cancellation right applies or Lightheaded Academy confirms another arrangement in writing.
Nothing in our refund policy affects your statutory consumer rights. Where a course or its digital content is faulty, materially misdescribed or not supplied with reasonable care and skill, you may have additional legal remedies.
